Financial Adviser
Dan spent 12 years working as a self-employed electrician, a job that he enjoyed but did not want to pursue for the rest of his working life.
One day on site he stumbled onto a personal Finance page online and discovered his passion. Dan began researching and investing his own money in 2017 after realising how important saving for future Retirement is. He immersed himself in books, podcasts, videos, and seminars to learn as much as he could about the topic. As his knowledge started to grow, he began helping his close friends on the job site locate previous Pensions and give guidance with any questions they had.
During lockdown Dan had an epiphany, that life was too short to not follow your passion, he decided that he wanted to pursue a career in Financial services; helping people to create and grow their Wealth.
While working full time Dan took a series of exams to become a qualified Financial Adviser and currently only has 1 exam left. Dan is now looking forward to putting his knowledge into practice at Penguin.
In his spare time Dan enjoys Scuba Diving, Jiu-Jitsu, Hiking and generally staying active – he really echo’s our motto of ‘One Life, Live It Well’.
Dan considers himself a world traveller and very lucky to have spent time working in Canada, Australia, Cyprus, Spain and Greece as well as having travelled Southeast Asia and Mexico during his 20’s. Dan believes in the importance of getting outside of your comfort zone to visit new places, experience different cultures and build a better understanding of the world while you are still young.
Dan has now settled down after getting engaged to his long-term girlfriend and realised there’s no better place than home!
