Chris loves being a Financial Planner. He enjoys listening to his Clients journey and what hopes they have for the future. He is determined to help as many people gain access to sound Financial Advice, plan for the future and help them make smarter financial decisions.
Chris has been a Financial Planner since 2011 when he started his career in a high street bank until being made redundant in 2013. He then decided to start up on his own and became self-employed. Chris then joined the Penguin Team in June 2021 as he shares the same ethos and values and wants to help more people.
Chris was born in Pontypridd but now lives in Cardiff with his wife Emma and children. They have 4 – yes 4 children – so as you can imagine he has a busy life running around after them.
Chris enjoys camping holidays and has a bit of a soft spot for Saundersfoot. As a family they enjoy spending time together, listening to music and cracking jokes and pranks.
Chris also loves most sports except Cricket and Horse Racing.
1.What’s the craziest thing you’ve done?
Blew up a microwave cooking Kit Kats at school. Woops!
2.What’s the best thing you’ve spent money on?
Bought my family home 4 years ago – so would have to say that.
I bought a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso and it broke down so many times and would light up like a Christmas Tree when garages put it on their diagnostics machine – what a waste of money.
4.What’s your favourite book?
I read Soldier Spy by Tom Marcus a few years ago which was really good.
5.If you’re not working, where will we find you?
Probably in the tent with the wife and kids – with a BBQ going.
