Penguin were named ‘Adviser Firm of the Year Wales’ at the 2016 Citywire New Model Adviser Awards in London last night.
We are incredibly thrilled and honoured to receive this pretigious award at was a fantastic event.
Here’s what Citywire had to say:
“Cardiff’s Penguin Wealth scooped the prize for Wales, citing a strong focus on client care and communication as key to its success.”
‘Clients can ring up any time and we’ll pass on the advice,’ said Penguin financial planner Mike Carberry. ‘Sometimes we can’t answer the query immediately but we can talk to our team. Our team is so important, including all our backup staff.’
The firm has taken on more junior staff over the past 12 months, through schemes with local universities. Director Craig Palfrey, pictured below with financial planners Gavin Baos and Mike Carberry, said young blood would continue to play a big part in the firm’s philosophy in 2016.
‘It’s massively important. If you look at the average age of a financial adviser you have to worry about what’s coming,’ said Palfrey.
